Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho looks set to discover the results of a disciplinary hearing next week following a failed drugs test.
The 26-year-old is currently serving a 30-day suspension after he failed a test in the aftermath of Liverpool’s Europa League tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 17 March.
According to The Guardian, Uefa’s control, ethics and disciplinary body has been looking into Sakho’s failed drugs test for the past month.
It’s understood possible punishments will be discussed on Thursday and the France international will likely discover his fate next week.
Sakho could be slapped with a ban for between six months and two years.
